ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To explore an objective evaluation mode for emergency response capacity on sudden poisoning incidents. METHODS: Based on the health emergency drills and blind design,22 teams in Guangdong Province were recruited to participate in the first round of evaluation,including blind sample analysis,theoretical examination( poisoning medical rescue,detection and investigation) and skills assessment( poisoning medical care,poisoning investigation,personal protection,poisoning detection and emergency decision-making). Then,the top 10 teams in the first round of evaluation were proceeded to desktop exercise in the second round of evaluation. The evaluation results were compared with the local gross domestic product( GDP) from 2011 to 2015 by Spearman rank correlation analysis. RESULTS: The median scores of the 4 sections were as follows: blind sample analysis was 71. 0,theoretical examination was 61. 4,skills assessment was 76. 5,and the desktop exercise was 55. 0. The rates of excellent for assessment of blind sample analysis,theoretical examination and skills assessment were 22. 7%,4. 5% and 0. 0%,while the failure rates were 31. 8%,45. 5% and 4. 5%,respectively. The rates of failure in medical rescue and investigation in theoretical examination were63. 6% and 50. 0%,the rates of failure in medical rescue and investigation in skills assessment were 40. 9% and 31. 8%,respectively. The middle-grade and passing rates of the top 10 teams in the desktop exercise were 10. 0%,and the failure rate was 80. 0%. There was a moderate positive correlation between the emergency response capacity for emergent poisoning and local GDP( Spearman rank correlation coefficient > 0. 700,P < 0. 05). CONCLUSION: The evaluation mode of emergency response capability assessment combined with actual combat and desktop emergency drill is established successfully. It can objectively test the assessment of emergency response capabilities.

ABSTRACT

At present,there exist some shortcomings in humanistic quality education in Chinese medical colleges and universities such as insufficient attention and being marginalized,the unreasonable curriculum provision,the theoretical but impractical content,the single teaching approach,the knowledge-based evaluation,the partially formalized second classroom,the insufficient integration of medical education and humanistic education,and so on.It should strengthen and promote humanistic quality education,update the idea of higher medical education and intensify the concept of humanistic quality educationin higher medical colleges and universities.It should reform the curriculum contents and construct reasonable curriculum system of humanistic quality education.It should improve the teaching approach and establish effective evaluation method for humanistic quality education.It should reinforce the construction of campus culture,pay attention the second classroom,and construct the humanistic quality education atmosphere for the integration of medical education and humanistic education.

ABSTRACT

Formation of communicative ability has internality and chronicity. Currently, eval-uation methods for medical students' communicative skills include examination, questionnaire, and comprehensive evaluation. Each has its own merits and drawbacks. As an alternative, this paper pro-posed to construct student archives for evaluation of communicative skills and opted for a comprehen-sive mode, based on students' self-assessment, guided by the teacher, and combined with patients' assessment.

ABSTRACT

Objective:Under the background that the army hospitals need to employ civilian nurses in a large quantity,we try to grope a scientific,objective method to choose the nurse who matches post.Methods:Referring to related data and the ritual of talented person evaluation,we chose the evaluation methods including paper test,computer test,personal interview and data integration;arranged the steps of planning,assigning the weight,performing evaluation,integrating the test results,and tracking for feedback;in order to form the mode to test the employed nurses' occupational diathesis.Results:We fulfilled a series of scales for mood and hobby,weight score,quality structure,evaluation method comparison and nurse's professional quality evaluation,etc,and determined the evaluation methods and procedures.Conclusion:Evaluating more than 100 nurses who are newly employed using this new mode,the result demonstrates that this evaluation mode can be easily operated,and is a guide in employing quantities of professional nurses for a hospital.
